Unsolved Test H5: Modular Seamless Video Wall Processor with UHD4K HDMI Matrix Integratio

Video Wall Processor and HDMI Matrix Integration

Hi,

We have a large video wall project and need to integrate multiple HDMI sources. I plan to use a Modular Seamless Switching Videowall Processor 16x16 as the main processor, along with a UHD4Kx2K HDMI 16x16 matrix switcher with WEB GUI control.

Questions:

Can these two devices work together?

Should I use both or just one?

What is the maximum resolution support for each device?

Looking for your recommendation on a proper signal flow diagram. Thanks!

They can work together, but in most projects you do not need both — choosing the right one depends on what the wall must do.

Modular Seamless Switching Videowall Processor 16×16 — this is the device that splices and arranges your sources across the video wall. It is the one you actually need for a large video wall.

UHD4Kx2K HDMI 16×16 Matrix Switcher — this is a router. It is useful when you have many sources and many destinations to switch independently.

A typical signal flow: HDMI sources → matrix switcher (optional, for routing) → video wall processor → displays. Both support 4K (UHD4Kx2K). My recommendation: if your main goal is a video wall, use the video wall processor (it already has switching); add the matrix only if you need independent routing to several separate destinations at the same time.
