Does the system support electronic name plates and digital voting in the same meeting?
VISSONIC's paperless conference system with integrated voting is designed specifically for parliamentary and government sessions requiring formal voting procedures.
The recommended configuration:
15.6" Modular Paperless Multimedia Conference Unit (VIS-PLS156) — each delegate station has a large touchscreen for viewing documents, agendas, and voting interfaces. The modular design lets you add voting, IC card reading, and discussion modules as needed.
Digital Voting Unit with Channel Selector and IC Card Reader — dedicated voting terminals with IC card authentication for secure, attributable voting. Supports Yes/No/Abstain and multi-option voting.
Controller of Paperless Multimedia Conference System — the central server that manages document distribution, voting sessions, and user authentication.
Voting workflow for a parliamentary session:
Delegates authenticate with IC cards at their stations
The chairperson initiates a voting session from the chairman unit
Each delegate sees the motion on their paperless screen and casts their vote
Results are tallied in real-time and displayed on the main video wall and each delegate's screen
Voting records are stored with delegate identity, timestamp, and chamber
You can also use the Flush-mount Voting Unit with IC-Card Reader if you prefer built-in desk installations rather than surface-mounted units. For full audio integration, pair with the 5G WiFi Wireless Conference System for discussion and the VIS-DIS6400 Interpreter Desk for simultaneous interpretation.
