Can the USB Omnidirectional Microphone work with Zoom on Windows 11?
Yes, the VISSONIC USB Omnidirectional Microphone is fully plug-and-play with Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and any UC platform on Windows.
The VIS-USBOM USB Omnidirectional Microphone is designed for simple PC-based conferencing:
True plug-and-play — no drivers needed on Windows 10/11. Just connect the USB cable and it appears as a standard USB audio device.
360° omnidirectional pickup — captures voices from all directions, ideal for small to medium meeting rooms (up to 4-6 participants around a table).
Built-in DSP — echo cancellation and noise reduction are handled in hardware, so Zoom's audio processing works cleanly with it.
Compatible with Zoom, Teams, Google Meet, Skype, Webex — select "VISSONIC USB Microphone" as both speaker and microphone in your app's audio settings.
Setup steps:
Connect USB cable to your Windows PC
Windows automatically recognizes it (takes ~5 seconds)
In Zoom, go to Settings → Audio → select VISSONIC USB Mic for both Speaker and Microphone
** with Zoom's audio ** feature
Note: for larger rooms (8+ people), consider the VIS-DCM3 ceiling array microphone with Dante output for better coverage, which would connect to a Dante-enabled DSP rather than USB.
