The key components:
POE Column Speakers — available in 2x3" (VIS-CS23), 4x3" (VIS-CS43), and 8x3" (VIS-CS83) configurations. They receive both power and audio over a single CAT5e/6 cable via PoE/PoE+.
dB-NET Digital DSP Audio Matrix — models from 8x4 to 16x16 (VIS-DAP84, VIS-DAP88, VIS-DAP1212, VIS-DAP1616). Routes and processes audio with EQ, delay, compressor, and matrix mixing per channel.
Dante Audio Matrix (VIS-DNT22) — optional Dante integration if you want to extend the system using Dante-enabled switches and endpoints.
System architecture for a distributed setup:
Audio sources (wireless mics, program audio) feed into the dB-NET matrix inputs
The matrix processes and routes audio to each zone
POE speakers connect to PoE network switches distributed across zones
Each speaker zone can have independent volume, EQ, and routing
For larger installations, you can cascade multiple dB-NET units and use network switches to expand POE speaker coverage. The DSP control software provides centralized management of all zones.
