Does the 4K Video Auto-tracking Camera support PTZ protocol?
Can it be controlled by the camera control keyboard?
Yes, the VISSONIC VIS-CDC-4K series cameras support standard PTZ protocols and work seamlessly with the camera tracking controller.
The VIS-CDC-4K series UHD Camera supports multiple industry-standard protocols:
VISCA (Sony protocol) — over RS-232/RS-485 and IP
Pelco-D / Pelco-P — widely used in security and AV systems
ONVIF Profile S — for integration with third-party VMS platforms
For automated camera tracking in conference rooms, the VIS-CKB Camera Control Keyboard and VIS-CATC Camera Auto-tracking Controller work together with the VIS-CDC-4K cameras. The auto-tracking controller uses the active microphone signal from the conference system to automatically switch the camera preset to the speaking delegate, giving you hands-free camera operation.
The setup flow is straightforward: connect the conference main unit's tracking output to the camera tracking controller via RS-232 or network, configure presets for each delegate position, and the system does the rest.
