Camera tracking for wired conference units - how does it trigger presets?

Good question — the logic is preset-based. Here is how it works:

During setup, you manually assign a camera preset position for each microphone ID (or each seat). These presets are stored in the Camera Auto-tracking Controller.

When a delegate presses the talk button, the Full Digital Networked Conference Main Unit reports that microphone's ID to the tracking controller.

The controller then recalls the matching preset and sends the move command to the camera (VISCA/PELCO-D/P).

Yes, one camera can cover several delegate units that sit close together — you simply point several microphone IDs at the same (or nearby) presets, so the camera frames that group of seats when any of them speaks.
