      They can be controlled together. VISSONIC offers Retractable Ultra-thin Screens with MIC, where the screen and the microphone are built into the same lifting unit, so a single control command raises or lowers both at once.

      There are also screen-only and microphone-only versions that are controlled separately if you prefer. For a clean one-command setup, the combined screen-with-MIC model is the way to go.
