    If we only need to record meetings and share them internally, do we need a Streaming Server?

    Or can the camera recorder handle this without a server?

      No, you do not need a Streaming Server for that. If your goal is only to record meetings and share them internally, a recorder is enough — the Professional AV Recorder (or the camera recorder) captures and stores the meeting directly.

      A Streaming Server is specifically for live streaming — pushing the feed out to RTMP/RTSP endpoints or a web portal in real time. So only add a streaming server if you later want to broadcast events live.
