    Simple question: can the chairman unit mute or turn off all delegate microphones during a meeting?

    We need this for council sessions where the moderator must control speaking order.

      Yes, that is a standard feature. The chairman unit (Full Digital Wired Discussion Chairman Unit) has a priority function that lets the moderator mute or switch off all delegate microphones at once — exactly what you need to control speaking order in a council session.

      It works on the chairman priority key, so the moderator can clear the floor instantly and then release the microphones again. The same behaviour is available on the wireless chairman unit as well.
