What is the maximum transmission distance for the HDMI/VGA to HDBaseT Wallplate?
Our cable run from source to display is about 80 meters.
The HDMI/VGA to HDBaseT Wallplate works together with the matching HDBaseT extender receiver, and the maximum distance depends on the receiver model:
HDBaseT extender for 70 m — up to 70 meters at 1080p
HDBaseT extender for 100 m — up to 100 meters at 1080p
Since your cable run is around 80 meters, you should use the 100 m version — the 70 m model would be too short. Run a single CAT5e/CAT6 cable between the wallplate (transmitter) and the receiver near the display. For 4K signals the distance is reduced, so confirm the resolution with your source.
