      The Digital Array Microphone Chairman/Delegate Unit needs the Full Digital Networked Conference Main Unit to function — it cannot operate standalone.

      The main unit provides power, audio routing and control for the whole discussion chain, and the array mic units connect to it over the conference link. The main unit is also where you manage the DSP processing and camera tracking integration.

      So when budgeting for an array microphone setup, remember to include the conference main unit as the heart of the system.
